The Department of Emergency Medicine at John Peter Smith Health Network (JPS) in Fort Worth, Texas, is seeking a full-time clinical faculty Physician to join our expanding team. The EM Residency program at JPS was established in 2011 as a fully accredited three-year program with 15 residents per class. JPS was the first Level 1 Trauma Center for Tarrant County and is a comprehensive level 1 stroke center. Seeing over 130,000 patient visits annually, the county hospital population provides incredible learning opportunities in volume and pathology. In addition, the department supports ultrasound, administration, street medicine, and education fellowships. Awarded by Gallup as a Gallup Exceptional Workplace in 2024.
Required Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible ABEM/ABOEM and EM residency trained. Experience in an Academic setting a plus.
Primary Duties: Clinical teaching at the bedside, participation in weekly resident conferences and participation in resident evaluations.
